The Grand Palais 180’s gas and dual-fuel hob codes (180 US N1 through NM) all share the same pair of brass gas burners and a large cast iron French top, with a power burner, a second burner pair, a lava-rock grill or an electric teppanyaki filling out the remaining position depending on which code was ordered. Each element is fed and switched separately, so a problem is almost always confined to one burner or one plate rather than the whole hob.
There is no digital display on this hob, so diagnosis is done at the affected element: gas pressure and flame quality at a burner, continuity at a teppanyaki heater, or thermostat calibration at whichever of the two vaulted ovens is misbehaving.
